Die Stiftung bezweckt durch den Kauf der Hotel Drachenburg & Waaghaus AG als Tochtergesellschaft die bauhistorisch besonders wertvollen Gebäude <Drachenburg> mit Wohnhaus, <Waaghaus> und <Rheineck> zwischen Seerhein und einem der schönsten Dorfplätze der Schweiz als Gesamtensemble zu erhalten, mit einem breiten Angebot als Kraft-, Erlebnis- und Konferenzort sowie als touristisches Ferien- und Ausflugsziel (auch für Familien) attraktiv mit Leben zu erfüllen und den eigenständigen Fortbestand in der Zukunft zu sichern.
