Company Purpose

Der Spitalverbund trägt insbesondere bei zur bedarfsgerechten Spitalversorgung; zur Notfallversorgung bei Krankheit und Unfall; zur Aus- und Weiterbildung in den Berufen des Gesundheitswesens; zur universitären Lehre; zur Forschung. Der Spitalverbund kann zusätzlich zum Leistungsauftrag nach Art. 10 des Gesetzes über die Spitalplanung und -finanzierung vom 31. Januar 2012 weitere Leistungen mit Bezug zur Gesundheitsversorgung anbieten, soweit die Erfüllung des Leistungsauftrags und die langfristige Gesundheitsversorgung nicht beeinträchtigt werden. Der Spitalverbund kann insbesondere Gesundheits- oder Notfallzentren betreiben sowie ambulante Leistungen innerhalb und ausserhalb der Spitalinfrastruktur anbieten. Der Betrieb von Gesundheits- oder Notfallzentren richtet sich nach dem Gesundheitsgesetz vom 28. Juni 1979.
