Company Purpose
La fondation a un caractère d'utilité publique et ne poursuit aucun but lucratif. Son but est de maintenir et de promouvoir un centre régional d'archives, de recherche et de documentation où sont conservés, classés et communiqués au public et aux chercheurs tous les éléments de l'histoire du Jura bernois : évènements historiques, sociaux ou politiques, démographie, économie, sciences et techniques, littératures, culture populaire, beaux-arts, photographie, musique, etc. La fondation s'efforcera de réunir les fonds utiles à son activité.
