Förderung der betriebswirtschaftlichen und technischen Forschung im Bereich der Logistik zur Schaffung von Grundlagen für besseres unternehmerisches Handeln in diesem Gebiet, namentlich in der Finanzierung qualifizierter Forschungsprojekte mit engem Bezug zur Praxis. Die Stiftung kann auch persönliche Forschungssubventionen ausrichten. Ferner Förderung der Publikation von Arbeiten, die zum Forschungsbereich der Stiftung gehören.
