Die Genossenschaft ist eine Selbsthilfevereinigung von Mitgliedern des Landesverbandes freier Schweizer Arbeitnehmer (LFSA), mit dem Zweck, den Genossenschaftern im Alter und bei deren Tod ihren nächsten Hinterbliebenen Leistungen zu erbringen, auf welche sie den Begünstigten einen Rechtsanspruch einräumt. Gegen die ASK können nur die Ansprüche auf die reglementarischen Leistungen geltend gemacht werden.
