Company Purpose

Die Stiftung verfolgt den Zweck, zur Rettung der vom Zerfall bedrohten Stadt Venedig Gelder zu sammeln, sie im Rahmen der internationalen Hilfsaktion ihrer Bestimmung zuzuführen und gleichgerichtete Bemühungen in der Schweiz nach Möglichkeit zu koordinieren. Dieser Zweck kann erreicht werden insbesondere durch Aufklärung der Öffentlichkeit über die Bedeutung und Tragweite der internationalen Aktion zur Rettung Venedigs; Beschaffung von privaten und öffentlichen finanziellen Mitteln; Beteiligung an der Erforschung der wissenschaftlichen Voraussetzungen und Grundlagen der Rettungsaktionen; Durchführung von Restaurierungen geschichtlich oder kunstgeschichtlich bedeutender sakraler und profaner Baudenkmäler und Kunstwerke sowie weiterer Kulturwerke oder Beteiligung an solchen Restaurierungsarbeiten; Vertretung der schweizerischen Bemühungen zur Rettung der Stadt Venedig gegenüber dem Ausland.
