EDITORIAL Liebe Leserin, lieber Leser Der Rest Europas handelt und beschleunigt, während die Schweiz zögert und bremst. Es ist mittlerweile für alle sichtbar, dass der Hochlauf der Elektromobilität in Europa langsamer verläuft als ursprünglich angenommen oder politisch erwünscht. Während die Europäische Union den Autoherstellern in dieser Situation zur Hilfe eilt, ihre CO₂-Regulierung flexibilisiert und das bereits politisch beschlossene Verbrenner-Aus revidiert hat, hält die Schweiz an ihrem starren Sonderweg fest. Ende Januar wurde in der nationalrätlichen Kommission die Flexibilisierung des CO2-Regimes versenkt, was wir scharf kritisiert haben (siehe unten). Während in der EU die Phase von 2025 bis 2027 konsolidiert betrachtet wird, müssen sich die Autoimporteure in der Schweiz für 2025 auf direkte Sanktionskosten in dreistelliger Millionenhöhe einstellen.
