Company Purpose

Die Hauptaufgabe der TBGN ist die Stromversorgung der Gemeinde Glarus Nord. Die TBGN übernehmen für die Gemeinde die folgenden Aufgaben: Erstellung, Betrieb und Unterhalt der eigenen Kraftwerke; Produktion und Handel mit Energie (Strom, Gas, Fernwärme); Erstellung, Betrieb und Unterhalt der Energieverteilungsnetze (Strom, Gas Fernwärme); Erstellung, Betrieb und Unterhalt der gemeindeeigenen öffentlichen Beleuchtung; Erstellung, Betrieb und Unterhalt von Kommunikationsnetzen; Förderung der effizienten Nutzung von Energie; Förderung von Produktion und Nutzung von erneuerbaren Energien; Der Gemeinderat kann den TBGN weitere Aufgaben übertragen. Dies geschieht auf der Grundlage von Leistungsvereinbarungen und / oder Konzessionsverträgen; vollständige Zweckumschreibung im Organisationsreglement.
