Company Purpose

Gelehrten aller Länder wissenschaftliche Forschungen aller Art im Gebiete des Jungfraujochs und des Gornergrats zu ermöglichen und zu erleichtern. Zur Erreichung dieses Zweckes wird auf Jungfraujoch ein Forschungsinstitut unterhalten, dessen Einrichtung und Ausstattung je nach Bedürfnis und den zur Verfügung stehenden Mitteln weiter ergänzt werden. Am Gornergrat werden die Wissenschafter in ihren Bemühungen, Forschungsgelegenheiten zu schaffen und Forschungsanlagen zu betreiben, unterstützt. Zur Erreichung des Zwecks kann die Stiftung auch Grundstücke und/oder Beteiligungen an juristischen Personen, welche Grundstücke halten, erwerben, bzw. halten.
