Zweck des Vereins HBZ ist der Betrieb, die Finanzierung und Vermarktung der 1. Mannschaft der Männer von GC Amicitia Zürich. Ziel von HBZ ist die stete Teilnahme an der NLA-Meisterschaft der Männer und dem Schweizer-Cup sowie den aufgrund der Resultate an diesen Wettbewerben erworbenen Teilnahmeberechtigungen an internationalen Wettbewerben.
