## Purpose

Zweck der Stiftung ist die Förderung von Radio und Fernsehen in der deutschen und der rätoromanischen Schweiz, vor allem im Bereich der Region Zürich. Die Förderung erfolgt vorwiegend durch die Verleihung von Auszeichnungen für bemerkenswerte Leistungen in den Programmen oder der Produktionstechnik von Radio und Fernsehen; die Finanzierung oder Mitfinanzierung von ausgewählten Radio- und Fernsehproduktionen im Sinne einer Werkförderung; die Durchführung von und Beteiligung an Veranstaltungen, die dem Stiftungszweck dienen; Beiträge an die künstlerische Ausgestaltung von Arbeitsstätten für Radio/Fernsehen und deren Umgebung in Zürich; Aus- und Weiterbildungsbeiträge an Medienschaffende; Kontakte, Erfahrungsaustausch und Zusammenarbeit mit verwandten Institutionen im In- und Ausland.
