## Purpose

Der Verein ist politisch und konfessionell neutral und verfolgt keine kommerziellen oder wirtschaftlichen Ziele. Der Verein hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck. Der Verein bezweckt die Förderung beispielgebender musikalischer Leistungen und Werke aus der klassischen Musik durch: Nachwuchsausbildung und dessen Förderung; Förderung des Ausbildungsstandes und der beruflichen Karrierechancen von jungen Künstlern der klassischen Musik; Organisation und Durchführung von Seminaren, Work-Shops, Festivals, Wettbewerben und Konzerten. Der Verein organisiert in der Regel mindestens einmal jährlich eine Swiss International Music Academy (SIMA) mit Meisterkursen und Konzerten. Allfällige Überschüsse werden ausschliesslich nach Art. 2 zur Nachwuchsförderung verwendet; Internationalen Erfahrungsaustausch; Vermittlung von Nachwuchskünstlern, Juroren und Dozenten; Entwicklung einer Plattform für die gemeinsame Zusammenarbeit mit Musikschulen, Profiorchestern, Firmen, Verbänden und der Öffentlichkeit. Die mit der Bezeichnung YOUTH CLASSICS verbundenen Kennzeichnungsrechte sind markenrechtlich in der ganzen Schweiz und Europa geschützt.
