## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft fördert das Wohnen sowie gewerbliche Nutzung in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe und Mitverantwortung, versucht das Ansehen von Wohn- und Hausgemeinschaften in der Öffentlichkeit zu heben, und entzieht die Liegenschaften der Spekulation. Zur Erreichung dieses Zwecks erwirbt die Genossenschaft geeignete Liegenschaften und baut diese im Bedarfsfall zweckdienlich um, wenn möglich in Eigenarbeit der Genossenschaftsmitglieder und unter Berücksichtigung ökologischer Kriterien. Sie stellt diesen Wohn- und Gewerberaum möglichst preisgünstig ihren Genossenschaftsmitgliedern zur Verfügung. Geeigneter Raum zum Wohnen und zur gewerblichen Nutzung kann von der Genossenschaft auch mietweise beschafft oder selber gebaut werden. Die Tätigkeit der Genossenschaft ist gemeinnützig im Sinne des Wohnraumförderungsgesetzes und nicht gewinnstrebig. Bezüglich der Liegenschaft St. Johanns-Ring 91 ist abweichend vom Grundsatz der Vermietung an Genossenschaftsmitglieder ausnahmsweise eine zeitlich limitierte Vermietung an Nichtgenossenschaftsmitglieder möglich, sofern der Zweck der Genossenschaft ansonsten erhalten bleibt. Der Vorstand erlässt dazu ein Reglement, das der GV zur Genehmigung vorgelegt wird.
