## Purpose

Die Kammer bezweckt nach den Grundsätzen der Gegenseitigkeit die Förderung von Handel und Wirtschaft zwischen der Schweiz und der Volksrepublik China. Zur Erfüllung dieses Zweckes unterhält sie Kontakte mit schweizerischen und chinesischen Behörden, wirtschaftlichen Verbänden und Unternehmungen, Kaufleuten und industriellen, politischen Organisationen und der Presse. Sie kann bei auftretenden Schwierigkeiten vermitteln, Auskünfte über alle Gebiete der schweizerisch-chinesischen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen erteilen und Berichte und Gutachten handels- und wirtschaftspolitischer Art erstatten und sämtliche Tätigkeiten wahrnehmen, die dem Zweck dienlich sind. Sie kann Publikationen und andere Arten von Veröffentlichungen on- und offline herausgeben. Die Kammer setzt sich zum Ziel, die gesamte Schweiz in ihre Tätigkeit einzubeziehen und Ansprechpartner für chinesische und schweizerische natürliche und juristische Personen zu sein. Die Mitglieder ihrer Sprachregionen sollen in der Kammer möglichst angemessen vertreten sein. Die Kammer fördert und ermöglicht Kontakt und Kommunikation unter den Mitgliedern durch die Organisation von Events und durch digitale Kommunikationsmittel. Die Kammer macht keinerlei Handelsgeschäfte, kann aber Dienstleistungen für ihre Mitglieder sowie Dritte gegen Entschädigung erbringen, soweit diese der Zweckbestimmung der Kammer entsprechen. Sie befasst sich nicht mit Politik.
