## Purpose

Der Verband bezweckt als kantonsübergreifende Dachorganisation der kantonalen und regionalen KMU-Organisationen aus Gewerbe, Handel, Dienstleistung und Industrie primär die Gesamt-Koordination aller verbands- und wirtschaftspolitischen Belange der Kleinen und Mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) in der Nordwestschweiz. Er vertritt in diesem Bereich konsequent seine Mitglieder, indem er u.a. laufend wirtschafts-, arbeitgeber- und standortpolitische Interessen im KMU-Bereich lokalisiert, dokumentiert und mit entsprechenden Massnahmen durchsetzt. Der Verband errichtet und betreibt nach Möglichkeit spezielle Kontakt-, Koordinations- und Kommunikations-Instrumente in Verbindung mit anderen repräsentativen Wirtschaftsverbänden, den Behörden, den Sozialpartnern etc. der Nordwestschweiz.
