## Purpose

Der Zweck des Vereins ist es, vor allem bei jungen Menschen das Interesse und die Neugierde für folgende Themen zu wecken und entsprechende Kompetenzen zu fördern: betriebs- und volkswirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge und Grundbegriffe; Arbeitswelt und berufliche Orientierung (Arbeitsort Unternehmen); nachhaltiges wirtschaftliches Handeln (Triple Bottom Line); Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft; Corporate Responsibility und Ethik in der Wirtschaft; unternehmerisches Handeln. Dazu führt der Verein in Zusammenarbeit mit Bildungsinstitutionen, den Sozialpartnern und anderen am Vereinszweck orientierten Organisationen wirtschaftspädagogische Projekte und Programme zu Gunsten von Schülerinnen und Schülern und anderen Lernenden durch. Ebenfalls kann der Verein besagte Engagements fördern. Der Verein wird als gemeinnützige Institution betrieben, verfolgt keine kommerziellen Absichten und strebt keinen Gewinn an. Der Verein arbeitet in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Ernst Schmidheiny Stiftung, deren Lehrkonzepte der Verein in seinen Projekten und Programmen einsetzt. Geografischer Schwerpunkt der Vereinstätigkeit ist die Schweiz und das Fürstentum Liechtenstein.
