## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die berufliche Vorsorge im Rahmen des Bundesgesetzes für die berufliche Vorsorge (BVG) und seiner Ausführungsbestimmungen für die Arbeitgeber und Arbeitnehmer der ihr angeschlossenen Firmen sowie für deren Angehörige und Hinterlassenen gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen von Alter, Tod und Invalidität. Der Anschluss einer Unternehmung erfolgt aufgrund einer schriftlichen Anschlussvereinbarung, die der Aufsichtsbehörde zur Kenntnis zu bringen ist. Der Anschluss einer Unternehmung ist möglich, wenn diese finanziell und wirtschaftlich eng mit der LAVEBA-Genossenschaft St. Gallen verbunden ist. Die Stiftung kann über die gesetzlichen Mindestleistungen hinaus weitergehende Vorsorge betreiben. Der Stiftungsrat erlässt allgemein gültige Ausführungsbestimmungen über Organisation, Verwaltung, Finanzierung und Teil-Liquidation, sowie Leistungen und Kontrolle in Form eines oder mehrerer Reglemente. Diese können vom Stiftungsrat unter Wahrung der erworbenen Rechtsansprüche der Destinatäre geändert werden. Das Reglement und seine Änderungen sind der Aufsichtsbehörde einzureichen. Zur Erreichung ihres Zweckes kann die Stiftung Versicherungsverträge abschliessen oder in bestehende Verträge eintreten, wobei sie selbst Versicherungsnehmerin und Begünstigte sein muss.
