## Purpose

Die Wahrung, Förderung und Vertretung der örtlichen und regionalen Belange des Tourismus unter Bedachtnahme auf seine ökonomischen und kulturellen Auswirkungen in der Region Viamala und folgende Kernaufgaben: a) die tourismusstrategische Planung für ihr Vereinsgebiet. b) das touristische Marketing, insbesondere Marktforschung, Werbung, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Verkaufsförderung und Vertrieb sowie die laufende Überprüfung der Marketingaufgaben auf ihre Erfolge. Zu diesem Zweck führt sie eine Geschäftsstelle und Aussenstellen. c) die Zusammenarbeit mit touristischen Nachbar- und Dachorganisationen. d) die Förderung des Verständnisses der Bevölkerung für die gesamtwirtschaftliche Bedeutung des Tourismus. e) die Unterstützung und Koordinierung der Tätigkeiten seiner Mitglieder und der öffentlichen Einrichtungen bei der Gestaltung eines marktgerechten Angebotes. f) sonstige Massnahmen der Gästebetreuung, insbesondere im Bereich des Veranstaltungsmanagements. g) die Weiterbildung ihrer Angestellten, Funktionäre. h) Gestaltung und Koordination des touristischen Angebotes sowie Bau, Betrieb, Unterhalt oder Beteiligungen an touristischen Einrichtungen (optional).
