Er unterstützt die Schaffung optimaler Rahmenbedingungen für die regionale Industrie bzw. Startbedingungen für Jungunternehmen und Start Up's im "Lab Science Tool-Bereich". Er betreibt zu diesem Zweck ein Zentrum "Toolpoint", zum Kompetenzausbau und um die übergeordneten Bedürfnisse der "Lab Science Tool"-Industrie zu vertreten und zu erfüllen bzw. Unternehmens-Gründungen zu erleichtern und zu unterstützen. Er arbeitet eng mit Hochschulen zusammen. Der Vereinkann darüber hinaus sämtliche Aktivitäten unternehmen, die geeignet sind, den Vereinszweck zu fördern und die direkt oder indirekt mit diesem in Zusammenhang stehen.
