## Purpose

Der Verein bezweckt, im Rahmen des Parkvertrags gemäss NHG und der Pärke-Verordnung, die Erfüllung der übergeordneten BAFU-Ziele und der folgenden parkspezifischen Ziele im Parkgebiet: Erhalten und Aufwerten der Natur- und Kulturlandschaften, Lebensräume, Flora und Fauna; Erhalten, Wiederherstellen und Aufwerten der Kulturgüter und Ortsbilder; Fördern der nachhaltigen regionalen Wertschöpfung (Tourismus, Gewerbe, Land- und Forstwirtschaft); Fördern von Kooperationen, Partnerschaften und Innovation; Fördern des kulturellen Lebens; Fördern der Umweltbildung. Der Verein verfolgt ausschliesslich die erwähnten, gemeinnützigen Zielsetzungen und ist politisch unabhängig. Im Übrigen gilt der zwischen der LP Binntal und den Parkgemeinden abgeschlossene "Parkvertrag". Der Perimeter des Landschaftsparks Binntal umfasst die Gemeindegebiete gemäss jeweils aktuell gültigem "Parkvertrag" (Parkgemeinden). Er kann erweitert werden, wenn weitere Gemeinden die Vereinsziele anerkennen und mindestens zwei Drittel der bisherigen Parkgemeinden sowie Vereinsvorstand und Vereinsversammlung der Erweiterung zustimmen. Der definitive Entscheid obliegt der Vereinsversammlung.
