## Purpose

Der Verein bezweckt als kantonale Organisation der Arbeitswelt (OdA): Die Förderung der beruflichen Grund- und Weiterbildung im ICT-Bereich im Kanton Bern; die Weiterentwicklung der Bildungsgänge und die Erstellung von Instrumenten und Dokumenten, welche der beruflichen Bildung dienen; die Information und den Erfahrungsaustausch mit allen Akteuren der Berufsbildung, insbesondere mit Lehrbetrieben und Unternehmen; die Zusammenarbeit mit allen an der ICT-Ausbildung und der Berufsbildung beteiligen Akteuren, wie z.B. Lehrbetrieben, Berufsfachschulen, kantonalen und nationalen Behörden, Verbänden, Unternehmen und Institutionen oder weiteren an der beruflichen Bildung interessierten Personen; Massnahmen zur ICT-Nachwuchs- und Lehrstellenförderung. Der Verein führt im Auftrag des Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamts die überbetrieblichen Kurse und das Qualifikationsverfahren im Kanton Bern durch. Andere Kantone können ihm dieselben Aufgaben übertragen. Der Verein ist politisch neutral und nicht gewinnorientiert. Er kann alle Rechtsgeschäfte vornehmen, welche zur Erfüllung seiner Aufgaben nötig sind oder die Erreichung des Zwecks unterstützen. Er kann insbesondere Personal anstellen, Aufträge an Dritte erteilen, Gesellschaften gründen oder erwerben, Bankkredite aufnehmen und Bürgschaften erteilen.
