## Purpose

Zweck des Vereins ist es, durch den Betrieb von Brockenstuben, Menschen, die in Not sind, insbesondere in den Ländern der Dritten Welt, wirksame materielle Sozialhilfe zu leisten. Die Erlöse, die aus dem Betrieb der Brockenstuben erzielt werden, dürfen ausschliesslich für diesen Zweck verwendet werden. Der Verein kann im Rahmen der arbeitsmarktlichen Massnahmen des Bundes und der Kantone Beschäftigungsprogramme für Erwerbslose durchführen. Die Beschäftigungsprogramme verfolgen keinen wirtschaftlichen Zweck. Sie dienen ausschliesslich dazu, die Vermittlungsfähigkeit der Stellenlosen zu verbessern. Im Weiteren vgl. Statuten.
