## Purpose

A) Der Verein setzt sich ein für die Milderung der negativen Auswirkungen des Konsums psychotroper Substanzen auf Einzelne sowie auf die Gesellschaft als Ganzes und fördert eine kohärente Suchtpolitik mit dem Ziel der sinnvollen Integration eines verantwortungsvollen Konsums psychoaktiver Substanzen in unsere Gesellschaft. B) Der Verein unterstützt die Erforschung, Evaluation und Weiterentwicklung von akzeptierenden, auf dem Prinzip der Schadensminderung beruhenden Behandlungs- und Beratungsangeboten. Er führt entsprechende Informations- und Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen durch und stellt entsprechende Informationen zur Verfügung. C) Der Verein setzt sich ein für die Anliegen von Konsumierenden psychotroper Substanzen und deren Recht auf Behandlung, wenn der Substanzkonsum Beeinträchtigungen mit Krankheitswert nach sich zieht. D) Der Verein bietet selbst entsprechende, akzeptierende Behandlungen und Beratungen an, wo sinnvoll in Kooperation mit anderen Fachorganisationen. Er kann auch in angrenzenden Gebieten, zur Linderung von gesundheitlichen oder sozialen Problemen, die häufig mit dem Substanzkonsum einhergehen, Leistungen anbieten. In jedem Fall hat der respektvolle Umgang mit den Patientinnen und Patienten und ihren Lebensentwürfen, sowie die gemeinschaftliche Erarbeitung von therapeutischen Zielsetzungen, entsprechend den individuellen Fähigkeiten und Einschränkungen der Betroffenen, höchste Priorität. E) Der Verein strebt keine wirtschaftlichen Vorteile für seine Mitglieder an. Ein allfälliger Rechnungsüberschuss darf nur im Rahmen des statutarischen Zweckes des Vereins verwendet werden. Der Verein ist befugt, Immobilien zu erwerben und zu belasten, sich an andern juristischen Personen zu beteiligen, sowie sämtliche Geschäfte einzugehen und Verträge abzuschliessen, die geeignet sind, den Zweck des Vereins zu fördern, bzw. die mit ihm in Zusammenhang stehen.
