## Purpose

Der Verband bezweckt: 1. Die Förderung einer fachgerechten Ausbildung von Bootssportlern durch die schweizerischen Bootsfahr- und Segelschulen. 2. Die Wahrung der Interessen seiner Mitglieder gegenüber Behörden, Verbänden und der Öffentlichkeit. 3. Die Förderung eines loyalen Verhaltens der einzelnen Schulen und Mitglieder untereinander sowie die Bekämpfung von unlauterem Wettbewerb. 4. Die Förderung einer fairen und korrekten Tarifpolitik, unter der Berücksichtigung lokaler Verschiedenheiten. 5. Die Information der Verbandsmitglieder mit Mitteilungen und Bulletins sowie Stellungsnahmen des VSMS mittels Pressepublikationen öffentlich zu machen. 6. Die berufliche Anerkennung auf gesamtschweizerischer Ebene durchzusetzen und sie nach einer Anerkennung jederzeit zu wahren, mittels Förderung und Organisation der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung. 7. Die Durchführung gemeinsamer Projekte.
