## Purpose

Der Verein trägt eine staatlich anerkannte evangelische Bildungsinstitution mit dem Gymnasium Unterstrass (in der Folge «Gymnasium») sowie dem Institut für die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Lehrpersonen für die Volksschule, welches als Institut mit besonderem rechtlichen Status an die Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich angegliedert ist (in der Folge «Institut»). Das Institut ist zudem in den Bereichen Weiterbildung & Dienstleistung sowie Forschung & Entwicklung rund um das Thema Bildung tätig. Im Zentrum steht die ganzheitliche Persönllchkeitsbildung, getragen von einem offenen, evangelisch geprägten Geist, der gemeinsames Lernen, Arbeiten und Leben, werteorientiert, praxisnah und zukunftsgerichtet ermöglicht. Der Verein verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
