## Purpose

Tourismus Biel Seeland bezweckt die nachhaltige Tourismusförderung im Drei-Seen-Land. Seine Tätigkeit umfasst insbesondere: Betrieb einer profitorientierten Geschäftsstelle und von Informationszentren (Infocenter) mit unfassenden Informations-, Reservations- und Verkaufsdienstleistungen; Vertretung der lokalen Interessen der Einwohnergemeinde Biel im Bereich Tourismus gemäss separatem Leistungsauftrag; Vertretung der regionalen Interessen des Vereins s.b/b im Bereich Tourismus gemäss separater Vereinbarung; Organisation, Durchführung und Unterstützung von Anlässen; Unterstützung der regionalen Tourismusorganisationen; Pflege der Beziehungen und enge Zusammenarbeit mit übergeordneten und regionalen touristischen Institutionen und gleich ausgerichteten Partnern. Der Verein ist befugt, sich an Unternehmungen zu beteiligen und bei Vereinen und Stiftungen mitzuwirken sowie alle Geschäfte zu tätigen, die der Erfüllung des Zweckes dienen.
