## Purpose

SwissAccounting ist der gesamtschweizerische Fachverband für ausgewiesene Führungskräfte im Accounting, namentlich Rechnungswesen, Rechnungslegung, Controlling und Steuern. SwissAccounting fördert die berufliche Weiterbildung der Mitglieder, insbesondere durch die Organisation von Weiterbildungsanlässen, durch die Herausgabe oder Unterstützung von Fachpublikationen und weiteren Medien sowie durch Erfahrungsaustausch; orientiert die Öffentlichkeit sowie vor allem Wirtschaft und Verwaltung über den Wert von Diplom und Fachausweis; fördert den Zusammenschluss seiner Mitglieder in Regionalgruppen und unterstützt diese in ihren Bestrebungen; fördert die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten der Diplomprüfung und der Berufsprüfung; nimmt massgeblichen Einfluss auf die Gestaltung und Durchführung der Prüfungen und deren laufende Anpassungen an die Praxis; nimmt nachhaltig und sichtbar Einfluss auf die Entwicklung und Einführung neuer zweckmässiger Formen des Accountings in der Schweiz; fördert den Berufsstand und vertritt dessen Interessen gegenüber Politik, Gesetzgeber, Behörden, anderen Verbänden und Wirtschaft; beobachtet die für seine Mitglieder massgebenden Entwicklungen im Ausland und hält bei Bedarf Kontakt zu ausländischen Fachorganisationen. Der Verein wird nach kaufmännischen Grundsätzen geführt. Allfällig erzielte Gewinne werden für den Vereinszweck eingesetzt. Um die Zweckerreichung zu fördern, kann SwissAccounting mit anderen Fachorganisationen zusammenarbeiten, Beteiligungen eingehen und Immobilien erwerben.
