## Purpose

Swiss Golf ist der nationale Dachverband (National Association) des Schweizer Golfsports Swiss Golf ist Mitglied von Swiss Olympic, der EGA (European Golf Association), von The R&A, der IGF (International Golf Federation) sowie der EDGA (European Disabled Golf Association) und vertritt die Interessen des Schweizer Golfsports in diesen Organisationen. Deren Regeln und Vorschriften sind für Swiss Golf und seine direkten und indirekten Mitglieder verbindlich. Swiss Golf kann weiteren Organisationen beitreten, sofern deren Ziele und Aktivitäten mit denjenigen des Verbandes vereinbar sind. Swiss Golf fördert und überwacht den Golfsport in der Schweiz und gestaltet den Rahmen unter Berücksichtigung der nationalen Interessen und internationalen Vorgaben. Swiss Golf wahrt die Interessen seiner Mitglieder. Er setzt sich für die Öffnung des Golfsports für mehr Golfspielende ein und unterstützt die Golfclubs und PGOs in der Gewinnung von neuen Mitgliedern. Zudem unterstützt Swiss Golf seine Mitglieder im Bereich der Nachhaltigkeit.
