## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt: Nach Möglichkeit soll(en) in erster Linie ein (mehrere) Hospiz(e) für Schwerstkranke (z.B. Krebserkrankte, Aidserkrankte, Tumorerkrankte, MS-Erkrankte, Epidemieerkrankte etc.) in fortgeschrittenem Krankheitszustand zur vorübergehenden Betreuung oder Begleitung bis zum Tod geführt werden. Es sollen möglichst alle entsprechend den Hausregeln geeigneten Patientinnen und Patienten im terminalen Stadium ungeachtet ihrer Krankheitsdiagnose, ihrer Herkunft, ihrer Religion, ihrer Rasse, ihres Geschlechts, ihrer sexuellen Orientierung und ihrer sozialen Verhältnisse aufgenommen werden. Die Stiftung verpflichtet sich so weit als möglich dem Hospizgedanken. Jedes Handeln soll ausgerichtet sein auf ein würdiges Sterben ohne Leben künstlich zu verlängern oder zu verkürzen. Dabei sollen die jeweils aktuellsten Schmerztherapien innerhalb einer allumfassenden Palliative Care zur Anwendung kommen. Ist es der Stiftung nicht möglich, einen eigenen Betrieb zu führen, so kann diese auch mit ihrem Stiftungskapital über eine unbegrenzte Zeit hinaus andere Hospize oder andere Instituionen in der Palliative Care unterstützen. Falls es die Kapazitäten zulassen, kann im weiteren die Stiftung auch Schwerstkranke im terminalen Stadium zu Hause betreuen sowie bei Dritten im Sinne einer Selbsthilfe zur besseren Bewältigung der Situation beratend zur Seite stehen. Kooperationen und/oder Fusionen mit anderen Institutionen in ähnlichem Bereich sind unter Beibehaltung des Stiftungszweckes möglich. Die Stiftung kann seine allfälligen Betriebe auch ausgelagert als selbständige juristische Personen führen.
