## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt auf gesamtschweizerischer Ebene ausschliesslich die gemeinnützige Weiterentwicklung, Förderung und Finanzierung der von Rudolf Steiner erarbeiteten pädagogischen Ideen. Die Stiftung unterstützt insbesondere Schulen und Vorschuleinrichtungen sowie Lehrerbildungs-Organisationen, die selbst Mitglied der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Rudolf Steiner Schulen in der Schweiz und Liechtenstein sind, aber auch Institutionen, die in direkter Verbindung mit der Schulbewegung stehen und deren Absichten mit den vorgenannten Zweckbestimmungen übereinstimmen.In diesem Sinne gewährt die Stiftung vorwiegend Darlehen zur Finanzierung, Fremdentschuldung und Sanierung von Schulliegenschaften (sogenanntes "Schaffhauser Modell") sowie Förderbeiträge und Spenden zur Finanzierung entsprechender pädagogischer Projekte. Die Stiftung führt durch oder beteiligt sich an strategisch wichtigen Entwicklungsprojekten der Schulbewegung, an Umfragen und Forschungs-Projekten und erhebt jährlich eine Statistik über die Entwicklung der Schulbewegung. Sie beteiligt sich an Publikationen oder informiert selbst über wichtige Themen und pflegt eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vorstand und der Koordinationsstelle der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Rudolf Steiner Schulen in der Schweiz und Liechtenstein.
