## Purpose

Die Stiftung unterstützt und fördert: a) das traditionelle Handwerk und dessen zeitgemässe und gestalterische Weiterentwicklung. Das damit verbundene Wissen, die handwerklichen Fähigkeiten und technischen Grundlagen sollen als Kulturgut erhalten bleiben und auch in Zukunft weitervermittelt werden. Als Zentrum für diese Aktivitäten dient das «Haus des Handwerks» an der Bahnhofstrasse 7 in Bauma. b) die Handweberei Bauma. Die Stiftung verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn. Die Geschäftsstelle der Stiftung organisiert die Tätigkeiten der Stiftung im Auftrage des Stiftungsrates.
