## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt Kliniken in einzelnen osteuropäischen Ländern im Rahmen der Western-Eastern European Partnership Initiative on HIV, Viral Hepatitis and TB (WEEPI) strukturell und weiterbildungsmässig zu stärken, damit das Betreuungsniveau für Menschen mit HIV/Aids, Koinfektionen und Begleitkrankheiten in Osteuropa erhöht wird, das Testen auf HIV und Tuberkulose und die Teilnahme an entsprechenden Therapieprogrammen erhöht wird, das Stigma gegen HIV-infizierte Menschen, insbesondere homosexuelle Menschen und Menschen, die Drogen konsumieren reduziert wird, die Weiterbildung, insbesondere mit E-Learning und Richtlinien unterstützt wird, was wiederum das Betreuungsniveau erhöhen soll. Die Stiftung wird nach unternehmerischen Grundsätzen geführt, ist aber nicht gewinnstrebig.
