Erwerb, Pflege und Ausstellung des Werkes von Walter De Maria "The 2000 Sculpture", um dieses wichtige, 1992 vom Künstler für die Ausstellung im Kunsthaus Zürich geschaffene Werk dauernd zu erhalten und in würdiger Weise der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen; Zurverfügungstellung von "The 2000 Sculpture" für periodische Ausstellungen im Kunsthaus Zürich; Ausstellung von "The 2000 Sculpture" in anderen Kunstinstituten und Ausstellungshallen, die dafür mindestens so geeignet sind wie das Kunsthaus Zürich; periodische Prüfung der Möglichkeit einer permanenten Ausstellung von "The 2000 Sculpture" im Kunsthaus Zürich oder einem anderen Standort, vorzugsweise in der Schweiz; ist berechtigt, im Falle einer Beschädigung oder starken Abnützung von "The 2000 Sculpture" einen Neuguss auszuführen, unter der Bedingung, dass ein Neuguss zu Lebzeiten von Walter De Maria nur mit dessen Zustimmung ausgeführt werden darf. Im Falle eines Neugusses muss der ursprüngliche Guss der Skulptur vollständig zerstört werden; sie verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke.
