## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt, die Wirkung und die kulturhistorische Bedeutung der Schlossdomäne Wildegg zu bewahren und zu entwickeln sowie sie durch laufenden Unterhalt und Instandstellung in ihrem Wert zu sichern. Die Kerndomäne, bestehend aus Schloss Wildegg, Hof, Garten und den Halden des Schlosshügels sowie dem anstossenden Wald am Kestenberg, wird im bisherigen Charakter bewahrt und in gutem Zustand erhalten; die Errichtung von Gebäuden und Einrichtungen, die den Blick auf das Schloss beeinträchtigen, ist untersagt. Die Stiftung macht geeignete Gebäude und Anlagen dem interessierten Publikum zugänglich, ermöglicht der Bevölkerung durch Ausstellungen und Veranstaltungen die Auseinandersetzung mit Themen zur Geschichte und Kultur und leistet damit einen Beitrag zur Vermittlung des kulturellen Erbes. Historische Gegenstände und Erinnerungsstücke der Familie von Effinger werden als integrierende Bestandteile des Schlosses in der Sammlung belassen, restauratorisch gepflegt und unterliegen einem absoluten Veräusserungsverbot.
