## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt: den Erwerb der Schlossbesitzung Spiez im Umfang gemäss Spiez-Grundbuchblattnummer 2453; die von ihr erworbenen Liegenschaften mit den darauf stehenden Bauten (Schloss, Neuschloss, Schlosskirche, altes Pfarrhaus, Haus «Le Roselier», Orangerie und Wehranlagen) in gutem baulichem Zustand zu erhalten, in Verbindung mit der staatlichen Denkmalpflege und dem archäologischen Dienst soweit erforderlich zu restaurieren und dabei die nationale Bedeutung der ganzen Anlage als Baudenkmal und geschichtliche Stätte zu berücksichtigen; Schloss und Schlosskirche in angemessener Weise der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen und sie für ihrem Charakter entsprechende Anlässe Dritten zur Verfügung zu stellen; jede Zweckentfremdung zu verhindern; nach Möglichkeit auch den Umgebungsschutz der gesamten Anlage zu gewährleisten, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Stiftung Spiezerhof. Die Schlossbesitzung Spiez im Umfang gemäss Spiez-Grundbuchblattnummer 2453 darf nie an Dritte veräussert werden. Gewinn und Kapital der Stiftung sind ausschliesslich dem vorstehend genannten Zweck gewidmet.
