Förderung aller Bestrebungen zur Erhaltung und Gestaltung des mittelländischen Reusstals als Natur- und Kulturlandschaft, insbesondere durch Schaffung, Aufwertung, Unterhalt und langfristige Sicherung von Naturschutzgebieten, mit dem dafür notwendigen Landerwerb, Erhaltung und Förderung der standortheimischen Flora und Fauna sowie der Vernetzung ihrer Lebensräume, Mitwirkung bei der Landschaftsplanung und der Regionalentwicklung, Betrieb des Dokumentations- und Informationszentrums Zieglerhaus in Rottenschwil in Zusammenarbeit mit Bund und Kanton mit Schwerpunkt Umwelt- und Naturbildung und Sensibilisierung, Unterstützung von Massnahmen des naturnahen Wasserbaus zur Aufwertung des Auenraumes, Einsatz für die ungeschmälerte Erhaltung des natürlichen Reusslaufes und seiner Ufer zwischen Bremgarten und der Einmündung in die Aare, Unterstützung einer naturnahen Land- und Waldwirtschaft, Engagement für die Verträglichkeit der Freizeit- und Erholungsnutzung mit den landschaftlichen und naturschutzbiologischen Werten, Anregung und Unterstützung wissenschaftlicher Untersuchungen in allen Naturbereichen sowie Förderung des Schutzgedankens und des Bewusstseins für Natur- und Landschaftswerte in der Region.
