## Purpose

Die Stiftung hat zum Zweck a) Die Vorburg und deren geschichtlicher Hintergrund im Rahmen der finanziellen Möglichkeiten zu erforschen und bekannt zu machen. b) Die Burganlage Vorburg durch bauliche und andere geeigneten Massnahmen nachhaltig zu erhalten. c) Das Mauerwerk der Burganlage so weit von Gebüschen und Jungholz zu säubern und ihre Umgebung auszuholzen, dass sie in ihrem ganzen Ausmass vom Tal her gut sichtbar ist. d) Die Burganlage Vorburg mittels Fussweg für Besucher zu erschliessen. e) Die Burganlage im Dorf Oberurnen zu signalisieren und im Umfeld der Burg eine Informationstafel anzubringen. f) Die Burg im Rahmen eines sanften Tourismus für die Gemeinde Glarus Nord zu nutzen. g) Kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Anlässe im Sinne der Stiftung zu veranstalten und h) In der Nähe der Burg einen bescheidenen Rastplatz mit Sitzgelegenheit und Feuerstelle zu schaffen.
