## Purpose

Die Stiftung widmet sich der archäologischen und ethnologischen Erforschung des Kulturgebietes Calima in Kolumbien, insbesondere der Ausgrabung und wissenschaftlichen Auswertung des vorkolumbianischen Kulturgutes und bemüht sich, die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse zum Nutzen der Bevölkerung auszuwerten. Sie zieht nach Möglichkeit Fachleute und Mitarbeiter aus dem Gastland und aus anderen Ländern bei, um die archäologische Forschungstätigkeit international zu fördern.
