## Purpose

Schaffung, Erhaltung und Betreuung eines der Öffentlichkeit zugänglichen Naturschutzgebietes im Sinne der kantonalen Zonenreglements-Normalien Landschaft, insbesondere LZR5/78 (Entwurf vom 04.08.1978), auf dem Areal Herzogenmatt in Binningen, das im Eigentum der Gemeinde Binningen steht und der Stiftung im Rahmen eines langjährigen Baurechtsvertrages zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Durch den Schutz und die Pflege von Flora und Fauna in diesem Naturschutzgebiet will die Stiftung dazu beitragen, den Gedanken des Naturschutzes insbesondere auch bei der Jugend zu fördern.
