## Purpose

Die Stiftung betreibt eine allgemeine Musikschule gemäss kantonalem Musikschulgesetz. Die Musikschule vermittelt den in den Stiftergemeinden wohnhaften Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen in Zusammenarbeit mit den von diesen Gemeinden betriebenen öffentlichen Schulen einen fachlich fundierten Musikunterricht durch qualifizierte, im Normalfall diplomierte Lehrkräfte. Die Stiftung unterstützt alle Anstrengungen, die der Förderung des musischen Unterrichts dienen und mithelfen, das musische Empfinden zu vertiefen. Die Stiftung gewährt für Kinder und Jugendliche einkommens- und vermögensabhängige Schulgeldrabatte.
