## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Schaffung eines schweizerischen Registers zur Erfassung von Behandlungs- und Krankheitsdaten von Patienten mit Myeloproliferativer Neoplasien ("MPN"), die Förderung der klinischen Erforschung von MPN, die Verbesserung der Versorgung von Patienten mit MPN, die Förderung der Vernetzung mit internationalen Forschern zur Erleichterung internationaler Forschungsprojekte, die Unterstützung des Datenaustauschs mit anderen internationalen MPN-Registrierungsstellen wie namentlich der University of Cambridge/Sanger Welcome Trust, der German Study Group for Myeloproliferative Neoplasien (GSG-MPN) in Deutschland, Grupo Español de Enfermedades Mieloproliferativas Cronicas Filadelfia Negatives (GEMFIN) in Spanien bzw. deren allfälligen Nachfolgeorganisationen und anderen Organisationen in diesen oder anderen Ländern, die mögliche Schaffung einer nationalen schweizerischen Biobank sowie die Ermöglichung eines MPN-Forschungsstipendiums.
