## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt, Gemälde holländischer und flämischer Meister des 15./17. Jahrhunderts, ferner ausnahmsweise auch verwandter Meister anderer Schulen dieser Epoche und ganz ausnahmsweise auch verwandter Meister späterer Zeit bis zur Romantik sowie Portraitminiaturen der europäischen Schulen des 16./19. Der begrenzten Mittel wegen trachtet die Stiftung nicht danach, die ganz grossen Meister, aber immerhin sehr bedeutende Meister zu sammeln.
