## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt insbesondere, a) die Grubenmann-Sammlung zu erhalten, zu entwickeln und in grössere Zusammenhänge zu stellen, b) die Sammlung zu betreuen, zu ergänzen und in geeigneten Räumlichkeiten zu präsentieren, c) die Werke der Baumeister Grubenmann, ihrer Schüler und anderer bedeutender Baufachleute der Region weiter zu erforschen, d) Ausstellungen und weitere Aktivitäten zu Themen der Baukunst und Baukultur sowie zu Kunst und Kultur im weiteren Sinne durchzuführen, e) mit der Sammlung, den Ausstellungen und den Aktivitäten Kunst und Kultur zu vermitteln. Zur Erreichung ihres Zweckes a) sorgt sie dafür, dass die Sammlung in geeigneten Räumlichkeiten attraktiv präsentiert und im Sinne des Stiftungszwecks auch ergänzt werden kann, b) erarbeitet sie eine Strategie für die Forschung und für die Gestaltung der Aktivitäten, c) sichert sie die Finanzierung.
