## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung der Aus- und Weiterbildung im produzierenden Gartenbau und in verwandten Zweigen durch finanzielle Leistungen an die Errichtung, die bauliche Ausgestaltung und an den Betrieb eines Gartenbautechnikums auf HTL-Stufe, des heutigen Institutes für Umwelt und Natürliche Ressourcen IUNR der Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften ZHAW. Die Gelder sollen unter anderem eingesetzt werden können für die Schnittstelle zwischen Bildung und Forschung, d.h. den Know-how-Transfer von der Branche in die Lehre und umgekehrt sowie für die Kursentwicklung. Die Unterstützungsbeiträge sollen branchengebunden gesprochen werden, wobei ein Bezug zur Bildung notwendig ist.
