## Purpose

Die Stiftung führt das "Schweizer Institut für Sucht- und Gesundheitsforschung" (im folgenden Institut genannt) in Zürich, welches ausschliesslich gemeinnützige Zwecke verfolgt. Insbesondere bezweckt das Institut, a) die interdisziplinäre Forschung im Bereich von Abhängigkeitsformen sowie in weiteren gesundheitlich relevanten Bereichen durch die Ausführung von Forschungsaufträgen sowie durch eigene Projekte zu fördern, b) die Entwicklung und Evaluation von Interventionen im Suchtmittelbereich, bei substanzungebundenen Suchtformen sowie in weiteren Gesundheits- und Präventionsbereichen zu fördern, c) die Entwicklung und Erprobung von Forschungsmethoden in den oben angegebenen Bereichen, d) Projekt- und Institutionsberatungen sowie Projektbegutachtungen durchzuführen, e) Forschungsergebnisse für die präventive, therapeutische, sozialpädagogische und sozialpolitische Praxis zugänglich zu machen f) Forschungsergebnisse in universitäre und andere Ausbildungsgänge einzubringen sowie Lehr- und Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen durchzuführen.
