## Purpose

Der unmittelbare Zweck der Stiftung ist, geeigneten Personen beiderlei Geschlechts aller Länder zu ermöglichen, Fremdsprachen zu erlernen und sich mit der Eigenart anderer Völker und deren Kultur vertraut zu machen. Insbesondere sollen in Ergänzung dessen, was bereits für die Studierenden von ähnlichen Institutionen getan wird, auch anderen bildungswilligen Kreisen Erleichterungen für die Weiterbildung in fremden Sprachgebieten geboten werden. Das mittelbare, höhere Ziel ist, zwischen Menschen verschiedener Nationen und Ethnien ein Kameradschaftsverhältnis zu schaffen und das gegenseitige Verständnis zu fördern.
