## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt, durch geeignete Vorkehren, insbesondere durch die Anwendung der schweizerischen Vorschriften unter Berücksichtigung der Richtlinien der Internationalen Handelskammer, die Lauterkeit der kommerziellen Kommunikation in der Schweiz zu fördern und damit auch dem Konsumentenschutz zu dienen. Die Stiftung übernimmt auf den 1. Januar 1982 die Befugnisse und Aufgaben der von der Schweizer Werbung SW gemeinsam mit der Fédération romande de publicité et de communication FRP 1966 gegründeten, in der Folge von der Schweizer Werbung SW administrierten, heutigen "Schweizerischen Lauterkeitskommission" (Commission Suisse pour la Loyauté),(Commissione Svizzera per la Lealtà), laut deren Geschäftsreglement. Die Stiftung verfolgt keine kommerzielle Zwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
