## Purpose

Bezweckt, präventivmedizinische Informationen und Kampagnen zu führen, insbesondere - aber nicht ausschliesslich - das Wissen über die Folsäure und deren Wirkung auf den menschlichen Körper zu mehren und die Bevölkerung bezüglich Folgen von Folsäure-Mangelerscheinungen zu sensibilisieren. Diesem Ziel wird in enger Kooperation mit den Lebensmittelproduzenten, dem Detailhandel, den Behörden, der Pharmaindustrie und den relevanten Fachgremien und Medien nachgelebt. Zusätzlich unterstützt die Stiftung Personen, die von den Folgen eines Folsäuremangels während der Schwangerschaft und den daraus entstehenden Fehlbildungen betroffen sind. Die Stiftung hilft unter anderem bei der Finanzierung von Rollstühlen, Handbikes, Ski-Monobobs und speziellen Jugendsport-Lagern resp. Jugendsport-Veranstaltungen.
