## Purpose

Erhalt und Förderung des geschützten Waldreservates im Gebiet Born/Ruttigen. Das Waldreservat im Umfang von ca. 37,1 ha wurde durch Regierungsratsbeschluss Nr. 434 vom 04.02.1994 ausgeschieden und unter Schutz gestellt. Förderung und Unterstützung der Bemühungen um den Erhalt der Natur im Gebiet der Ruttiger Weid. Besondere Bedeutung kommt dabei der traditionellen, naturnahen Bewirtschaftung zu, welche dazu beiträgt, die Lebensräume einheimischer, teilweise gefährderter Tier- und Pflanzenarten zu erhalten. Unterstützung weiterer Bemühungen um den Erhalt der Natur im Bereich des ganzen Borns. Die Stiftung arbeitet dabei eng mit den Grundeigentümern sowie den Behörden der Stadt Olten und des Kantons Solothurn zusammen.
