## Purpose

Die BUL bezweckt die Beratung zur Unfallverhütung von landwirtschaftlichen Berufs- und Nichtberufsunfällen. Sie kann selbst Unfallverhütungsmassnahmen durchführen und ausserdem Aufgaben aus verwandten Gebieten übernehmen wie zum Beispiel im Rahmen des Bundesgesetzes über die Unfallversicherung (UVG) vom 20. März 1981, des Bundesgesetzes über die Sicherheit von technischen Einrichtungen und Geräten (STEG) vom 19. März 1976 usw. Zur Erfüllung ihres Zweckes kann die BUL Vereinbarungen mit andern Organisationen oder mit staatlichen Instanzen abschliessen, welche den gleichen oder einen verwandten Zweck verfolgen.
